Amy's Turn, Or My Review of American Girl Cooper

What I liked: Cooper is very adorable. I have also found he's very photogenic (see above)! He's also stuffed!
What I didn't: He has a little trouble standing up after he's been sitting, but all, in all, I am glad I spent 26 dollars to grab him!

Matilda Monday #4

Hello! How are you all? First off, I apologize for no pictures last week. Here they are: last week's forgotten pictures.
From Left to Right: Ren, Peacock, Ce'Nedra, Fern Medusa

The two Emma's

Anyway, this week I watched a movie about a girl named Matilda, an she was horribly mistreated. However, in the end, she got a nice family and speical powers. I tired to see if her power would rub off on me, but instead, I am, still, as aways, powerless. Sigh. However, I find a small unicorn whom I have named Virgil.  He nuzzles my hand, and I am reminded of the legends of the unicorns in my home country.
Virgil

I also leaned how to do a handstand. Yay!

Goodbye until next week!

Katherine Pretends to Be Mckenna, Or My Review of Mckenna's School Outfit, Rain Gear

Mckenna's School Outfit:
What I liked: The shoes were cute, it was purple, and the skirt seems good for mix n matching.
What I didn't: The cowl neck. It just won't go down; its alway up like a collar.

Mckenna's Rain Gear:
What I liked: The umbrella is adroable, and just the right size!
What I didn't: Katherine and Amy are soft bodied vinyl dolls, so I can push in their ankles to get shoes to fit. I had to do this with the rain boots. I have no idea if they'd fit AG dolls or not.
Enjoy! Review of Cooper comes soon!

Matilda Monday #3

Hello, all! How was your week? My owner did not have school today, on account of it being Martin Luther King Jr. Day. I was unsure of what this was, so I looked it up on Google. Google is a wonderful thing! Anyway, here is what it said. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an American clergyman, activist, and leader in the African-American Civil Rights Movement. He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience.

Also, I learned there are two Emmas in the house. One is a doll house baby, and one is a Lego friend. My owner took advantage of the day off and watched the inauguration of President Barrack O'Bama. While doing this, she crafted dolls out of pipe cleaners, yarn, and fake flower petals. They are fairy dolls, the tinker bell kind, and my owner refers to them as. Fairys have certainly changed! But, back on topic. Their names are Peacock, Ren, Fern and Ce'Nedra. My owner will post pictures of them at some point.

Good-bye for now, everyone.

Matilda Monday #2

I'm sorry to all of you looking forward to it, but I have decided to do away with Writing Wednesday because of the lack of time I have on Wednesday.
Meeting Abbey

Hello, everyone. This week, I met Abbey, the newest Monster High doll in my owner's collection.  She is very cold, but seems nice. I also attended a festival where I was very much coveted by some of the people I met. I am still very new around here, especially compared to Suki, the Japanese Barbie doll of the world that the blogger here received when she was very young. But that's ok, because everyone here is very nice. And I'm not the only new girl; there's Abbey Bominable and Venus Mcflytrap, who are both Monster High. I am also very tall compared to the doll house dolls. Their babies fir in the palm of my hand. So when I walk around on the dresser, I have to be careful not to step on them.

Until next week, I remain, Matilda

Matilda Monday #1

Matilda looking at the guppies.
Hello. I am Matilda, a 16-inch A Girl For All Time doll. I was a Christmas present to the- what do you call a person who blogs on a blog- blogger here. I was a little, ok a lot, nervous about meeting my new owner. She unwrapped the box, and opened it. I was worried about not having any friends. But within minutes I had a home, a nickname, a family, and friends. My nickname is Tildy. You may call me that, I suppose. In another couple of minutes, I sat down to tea with my owner's sister's twins. They were very nice, although definitely younger than I was.

I suppose I should talk about other things other than Christmas  morning. Other things I have learned include:
The big black box in the parlor (they call it a living room) is a, not dangerous, b, not witchcraft, and c, there are no little people in the back of it. Also, stay away from the fish tank. While the fish may be lovely to look at, water is bad. And I have leaned that the dolls who look like what goes bump in the night are not scary at all; they are really quite nice.  I have also read a book about Isabel, the jewel of Castilla, and while I love life here, sometimes I long to be a princess like Isabel.

Well, I suppose I must go now. I have lots of reading to do, you see.

Photostory: A Day in the Park

ASK IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO USE MY PHOTOS. WHEN YOU DO, PLEASE PROVIDE A LINK TO MY BLOG. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE.
One day, Katherine decided to pack up Phoebe and go to the park.
This looks like a good spot, thought Katherine as she settled down under a tree.
"I'll just take a short nap," Katherine whispered, her eyes already starting to close.
Then Amy came along on Spirit. "Hello, Katherine," said Amy.
Amy dismounted Spirit and came to sit down beside Katherine.
"I have a snack," Katherine said offering Amy a banana.
"Thanks," Amy said, accepting it graciously.
After that, Amy went exploring. She discovered a frog. "His name is Frogson," she pronounced.
"Bye," said Amy, hopping on Spirit.
"I suppose we have to leave now, too," said Katherine. "Since it is getting dark."

My New Additions to my 18" Family

Who knows what you can find in the basement! This was where I found an old black Our Generation horse! I cleaned her up, and named her Spirit.

Then I went to Target and bought a little mini baby. I decided she'd be Katherine's little sister, and named her Phoebe.

Like the pics?
